Well, as these weekly competitive Makeover2Takeover Challenges become increasingly more heated, the temperature is certainly rising on the quality of our Team entries as well! We started this contest with 16 Teams. But after today, only 8 Teams will remain standing as we head into the next round.

(To find out all the details on the Week Five Challenge, GO HERE)

Here's a quick overview of this past week's Challenge:

We asked our M2T Teams to create a complete and thorough 'System' for both Sellers and Buyers. These systems will serve as a boilerplate (template) for all future transactions. It will provide a comprehensive checklist of task/activities associated with each client type.

And so, without further delay....

First, let's get the tough part over with first. While we wish all of our teams could advance, two of our teams face elimination today.

The Makeover2Takeover Teams to be eliminated from competition this week are Team Brio - Ann Casey & Jessica Horton, and the Jedi Team - Karen Luke & Margaret Woda. Ladies, we are so priveleged to have had your involvement and amazing contributions in this contest. We will be awarding each of you points for your involvement, as well as a token of our appreciation to follow later.

And now, for the winner of the Week Five Challenge.....(are you sitting on the edge of your chairs?)

The Team to win the Makeover2Takeover Week Five Challenge are those Huntsville Hotties - Mentor Kimberly Grant and Apprentice Elizabeth Ramsey Cooper!"

Congratulations, Kimberly and Elizabeth!

And to all the other Team Contestants, congratulations as well. You've successfully make it onto the Week Six Challenge which will be announced later today!

For all the members of the ActiveRain Community, make sure to voice your words of encouragement and appreciation to all the Makeover2Takeover Teams!

Elizabeth & Kimberly...

Congratulations!  I know you are excited about your big win!  I really looking forward to seeing your entry.  I will be posting mine as well.  I have a friend that will let us put our entire word doc on his server, which will give you a URL link to post so everyone can read each others entire entry.

Rich...can you provide us with a URL link to our entries so we can post the whole word doc.?  It's been a bit confusing for others to view and for many of us too.  L

Congratulations, Kimberly and Elizabeth.  I don't know how you made it through the week with a wedding going on!

The Jedi Team is out but not down - we're gonna try to keep up with the challenges on our own so Karen can keep learning and I can keep refining my mentoring.   And now we both might have some time for "real" ActiveRain participation - you remember, the reading, posting and commenting stuff.

Enjoy!

OH MY GOSH!!! Tim and I (new hubby) were in the car, headed to our "Honeymoon" hotel when Kimberly called to tell me. I CAN"T BELIEVE IT! I had just told Tim I was really afraid to look today, because I didn't want to be down this week. WOW! I"m still jumping up and down!

Kimberly and I worked until the very wee hours of the morning Thursday night.....and again on Friday. I truly could not have finished without her cheering me on, over and over.  I was so off kilter, having a hard time focusing, even feeling a little guilty for not putting all my focus on my wedding. Kimberly would bring me back down to earth with her caring and compassionate attitude!  She kept assuring me we would be just fine.

Thank you Kimberly. You ARE the best. If I was in town, I'd run over and give you a big kiss!  (Lucky for you I'm not).

Thanks everyone for all of your kind words. I'm SO excited. To the Jedi Team and Team Brio, there are no losers, as I've said all along. We ALL are winners. Lucky ones at that to even have this opportunity!

Okay, let the honeymoon begin! Thanks guys!!!!!

Congratulations you two! A marriage and a win too? Wow. Where are you finding the time? I blink and the week is over! Anyway, as everyone else is I can't wait to see what you did. Melissa and I are really proud of what we did this week and it will be useful to us both in the future! I still want to learn more about your systems though...it will only help us! Are you tired yet? We are!

Don't you think we ought to get the forth of July week off??? Who said that?

Later in the rain~Deb
