Is what's outside your window important? How do you value a view?

Good morning, Georgie Hunter R(S) 58089 those are all multi million dollar views.... I'd never leave the window... except to jump into the ocean and lay on the beach....

Having a view is certainly desirable but it usually comes with a price tag too, haha.

These certainly are beautiful views... bound to refresh anyone's soul, Georgie.

Aloha Georgie - a "view" can be defined differently by people. 

I remember years ago, as a newer agent but not that new, I met a buyer who told me one of her home buying goals including a home with a view.   

Obviously, I wasn't listening carefully enough because after showing her properties with varying spectacular views she called me one day and told me she had "found" the right home and would I show it to her.  It was in a neighborhood and on a street that was flat --- I said that was interesting to hear since I wouldn't think it would be a match because it didn't have a view.  "But it does" she informed me.  It has a wonderful view of the golf course where her Dad often played.  It was just right for her. 

In those days, multiple offers were rare.  Hers was the only offer submitted and after some back-and-forth negotiations, the house was hers.  One person's idea of a view is not universal.  It was an early listening lesson.  

I would opt for the third choice above!

Views are important for many home owners, but the question truly is, What views do you want?

I love my view (though, obviously not as much as I would love the views of the photos you have posted here!)

Georgie, we don't have THOSE beautiful views, those are priceless.   We have some good mountain views though!
