The City of Bedford knows how to throw a party!  Join the City of Bedford at the Bedford Boys Ranch on Friday, July 4th for the Bedford 4thFest Wild West Extravaganza!  The festival is an all day event and the fireworks begin promptly after the sun sets.

What to Bring: Bring the family and your hats, your sunscreen, your lawnchairs and your cooler to enjoy the food, the concert and one of the best fireworks displays that the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex has to offer! Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

Where:  Bedford Boys Ranch is located at 2801 Forest Ridge in the city of Bedford just north of Highway 183.

Cost:  FREE!

Parking:  There is no parking available at the Boy's Ranch, but shuttles are operating all day from Pennington Field located off of Central Drive just south of Highway 183 in Bedford.  Shuttle service is $3 and children under 3 are free.

TIP: Parking along Harwood Road at one of several Shopping Centers is an ideal place to watch the fireworks.  You'll want to arrive early in the evening to secure a spot as 4thFest is one of Bedford's most popular events.

Bedford Splash Aquatic Park is a great way to cool off during the day while waiting for the concert and fireworks to begin!  With 3 pools, including a kids pool, water slides and shaded areas for lounging, Splash is Beford's favorite spot for cooling off!  Located at the Bedford Boys Ranch, admission is $5.50 for adults, $4.50 for kids under 18 and FREE for children under the age of 2.

Sounds like a great time, Amanda! What I like about where I live is that I can sit on my driveway and see all the fireworks at the Hidden Creek golf course just south of me. Have fun!

Somebody put a bucket of water on Jeremy's blog - it's liable to combust :)

Great local event, Amanda...we've been in Missouri for the last few 4th of July for a small town celebration that was terrific.  Would love to visit another water park and top it off with fireworks!q

Ok, Stapler Queen.... I'm back... where's the party?  I know there has to be a stapler around here somewhere! :)

I'm telling ya... you need to get Big Daddy packed up, fire up the bus and head north.  The fishing was so damn good this past week it was about more than I could take. Ya'll are missing out!

Danny, I hope you had an excellent 4th of July!

Jesse, welcome back!  You have no idea how tempted I am to take you up on the offer!  I am very close to needing to a take a little break and recharge the batteries!  I need to wait until the fall though when things settle down a bit.

Somebody spread a rumor about a down market and that same somebody lied.

Robert, you are going to stay on me until I write another post, aren't you?  Alright.  I'll give up a few hours of sleep and make it happen.  :)

Well, consider it a standing offer.  We'll always make room for the Stapler Queen and Big Daddy.  It's not that often we get a coach up here with steer horns on the front. :)  haha

We've got a huge circular driveway with room for four if we park 'em just right... the first two that show up get full hookups!

Ok, what the hell are you up to???? We're needing a new Mandyism from the heart of Texas.  Do I have to bribe you with Goose?

I have no problem with that, btw. :)

Badly need your help. The most important thing in communication is to hear what isn't being said. I am from Wales and know bad English, please tell me right I wrote the following sentence: "Wall mounted cuckoo clocks standing floor." With best wishes 8-), Callidora.

Badly need your help. I have a simple philosophy. Fill what's empty. Empty what's full. And scratch where it itches. I am from Turkey and too bad know English, give please true I wrote the following sentence: "Radioactivity azole feet similarly sleep to the hair as a substance scarring writers including combed-up diseases, skin mammals, delivery or all three." Best regards :), Lovie.
