Diversity and inclusion should be something that is ingrained in us, not something we have to make a point of doing.

Hello Grant - discussion is often the first step  on the road to success especially when it includes meaningful connection between participants and engagement/involvement.   

Good morning, Grant... what Endre Barath, Jr. except for the part about being called a "fn foreigner." But I did "stand out" in the early 1970's as a woman entering the corporate world in a financial function. 

Hi Grant Schneider, In my corporate life, I rose to a mid-level manager in the Staffing industry in Southern California.  I remember when HR was the "Personnel Department".  Diversity and inclusion make us much stronger in all aspects of life and business. Being open and welcome to all people and their ideas is powerful.

No one has the right to make anyone uncomfortable.  We should all be welcoming to each other - that is just being a decent human.

Grant, great post, and we all do need to embrace diversity in all aspects of our lives.

Grant I applaud you for championing diversity and inclusion.  Unfortunately I see to many people these days claiming to be championing diversity and inclusion but really discriminating against others who they do not consider a minority class.  Diversity and inclusion applies to everyone.  Both the minority and majority!!!

Absolutely, appreciate your message. While I do agree with many, that the basics need to be taught at home. Sadly, parents with narrow minds often raise children with the same limited thinking.  Unfortunately, there are times when we need to step up to ensure that open doors exist for everyone.
