TIRED OF HIGH GAS PRICES?  Don't sit on your fanny and do nothing!  Contact your state senate and house, let them know you want to drill in USA!  DON'T WAIT!

We have plenty of oil in America, we need to stop being dependant on foreign oil!  Making gas from corn and soy beans will only make our food supply shrink and cost more!  Ethanol is expensive, if we can't afford $4.00 gas, we sure can't afford Ethanol!

We can turn this economy around by starting to drill!  COME ON AMERICA, THIS IS ABOUT SURVIVAL!   You may have plenty of money, and maybe high gas prices are not hurting you.  But, consider the person making mininum wage, they can't afford to drive to work!  We are all in this together, let's do something!

I CHALLENGE YOU TO CONTACT  YOUR CONGRESSMEN AND WOMEN, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Hummmmmm without getting to political on here I think that Americans need to curb our need for oil.....we are the most wasteful nation and even though gas prices have hit me like everyone else I am all for keeping prices between 4-5 dollars.....I hate to see so many people driving these HUGE SUVs here and one person in them. Our waist of plastics is also terrible......I think that we should leave our invioroment alone and concentrate on using less.

I agree.  We should drill and open up our refineries.  We can do it.  Politicians and environmentalists don't care what we pay.  Anything American seems to be wrong with them.  No body wants to damage the environment.  We can create more jobs and be in control of our environment and our gas situation.

Todd,

Are you serious?  You want to keep gas between $4.00 and $5.00  Minimum wage is not much more than that, how do you think those people can survive???  I agree Americans are wasteful, but I think they should drive the car of their choice.  Maybe we should all live in 900 sq. ft. homes!  I don't think we can police what people drive, live in, or the miles they travel.  We just need to be  self sufficient!  Thanks for your imput.

Great post and one that can make a lot of difference.  There is a petition be circulated right now called "Drill here, Drill now, pay less" I think by Newt Gingrich.  It now has close to 1,000,000 signatures so lets contact all of our spheres of influence to get them on board as well.  Just think, if each one of us in the Rain could get 100 signatures added there would be 90,000,000 signatures to tell congress to get off their backsides and get moving.  It would not be hard to do.  All of us know at least 100 others easily.
