I have been an avid swimmer for several years. However, when my health center closed down in March 2020, I was shut out of the water until a family member chose to leave the side gate of their home open so I could use their pool. Then the California wildfires came, and air quality was so poor we were told to stay indoors. Since then, I've become a horrible couch potato far too much of the time. However, today, I made a resolution to change all that. I will rejoin the health club, and work out on the outdoor torture machines that I hate until the pools open up once again.
