The Woodbridge area of Prince William County has numerous commuting options. One of the most efficient is bus service operated by the Potomac Rapid Transit Company.

The company provides 4 levels of srevice. Unless you are as familiar with Prince William County as I am (a 22 year resident) you may not be aware of the depth of service provided by this firm.
Omniride This commuter service operates to the Pentagon and Washington, D.C. There is inbound service from commuter parking lots in the morning and return service in the afternoon and early evening.

Omnilink There are major work and shopping centers throughout the Woodbridge aree and Omnilink fulfills this local service need.
Omnimatch There are work centers in Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. that are not accessible by Omniride commuter service. Omnimatch is a free service provided by PRTC that makes it possible for carpool users to link with each other and facilitates their joining forces
Metrodirect This is a relatively new PRTC service that provides direct morning service to the Franconia-Springfield metro station station. Working late? Metrodirect provides sevice from the Franconia-Springfield metro station to Woodbridge as late as 10:30 PM.

It and bus service are but 2 of the 4 solutions to commuting that make Woodbridge and Prince William County an extremely desireable location for military families when commuting to the Pentagon and other military sites are necessary.
