Aloha everyone...it's been a long time since I wrote anything in active rain so just thought since I have nothing else to do I might as well say congratulations to the Ka'oi Tsunami girls U-10 soccer team.  They went to Vegas to play in the Jammer's invitational soccer tournament and won thei division.  Not bad for a team that never traveled before and only had two players with mainland experience.  Happy to say that my daughter was one of them.  For the second time in two years she went to the mainland and won the soccer tournament.  Not without help though, the head coaches daughter actually saved the championship for the team by stopping not one, but two penalty kicks in the sudden death shootout.  That's right, after two overtime periods of great soccer and alot of opportunities on both sides, it went to a shootout.  Big props and a very big shout out to the girls.  It was a very enjoyable experience to travel with a different team and just being asked was a great feeling.  The other player withtravel experience was my fiancee's daughter.  Amazingly she played injured.  She strained her hamstring in warmups before the first game and sucked it up for the rest of the tournament...wow.  GREAT JOB GIRLS.  Now back to realty and to my daughter's regular team...even though it was alot of fun and maybe a future opportunity for all...

That is super cool.  I am looking forward to when my son gets a little older and we can travel for some of the mainland tournaments.
