Pictured above is the picture of view out of our office window early this morning. That rainbow was an unexpected and a welcome Wednesday delight.
Last evening, we were awakened from a sound sleep as the rain started to fall with resounding thuds. It awoke us, but we smiled, grateful for the rain, and went back to sleep.

Hello Alexandra and Ron - I started hearing the rain during the night. It continued early this morning and then stopped. Started for a bit this afternoon. Nice and sunny right now. No need to chase rainbows when one designs them.

So pretty, Alexandra. We had a wild thunder and lightening storm this afternoon and early evening. Also, with a significant amount of hail. The news reported we had a double rainbow, but I missed it. This is my backyard in late afternoon.
