Here is my technology rant for the day.  I read a new blog today and it stirred something inside enough to make me write about it.

When you write today's blog is about xxxxxx, you will loose some people because they know you don't know what you are talking about.  You should write - today's post is about xxxxxxx

The "blog" is the web site - not the article.

The "post" is the article.

When you use the incorrect terminology - you loose credibility.  Our job is to use tools such as blogs to enhance and create new business opportunities.  Don't let your blog hurt your business.  Be the expert.

Thanks for the comment Marchel.  Since this is fairly new technology - it takes a while to grasp all of it.  The problem with blogs - they are permanent.  Publish a mistake and it is out for the masses.  Good luck.

That is a VERY good point and now I will have to back and check to make sure that I haven't made such an error.
