Branding Moment: This Brand "Pull"Pulled" Us In!

As we were walking down the aisle at El Rancho Market in Santa Ynez, ready to check out, this brand "pull"ed us in to stop and take a photo. The price is certainly appealing as is the blessing  and rating of the "Wine Enthusiast!"

 

We liked the label featuring two types of wine openers, one for the chardonnay, and the other for the cabernet sauvignon.  It is clever and well-thought out brand.  It is clear, simple and to the point.  

 

And, no, we did not buy it!  We are not fond of the Paso Robles County wine making style.  We are fond of the label!

Yes for a moment!  I did not buy because of the style of winemaking associated with this county.  I would need someone who has a similar palate to tell us it is good. A

I can understand, it was the graphic that I thought was clever tying a wine opener with a wine brand.  However, it was not enough to go into my basket for Paso Robles wine making style reasons...LOL A

Alexandra, please forgive this off-topic comment.

 

I know you guys aren't big contemporary movie watchers and I'm unsure whether or not you have netflix.   If you do, the movie A Little Chaos brought you guys to mind, for reasons obvious and subtle.

 

It's an excellent Kate Winslet movie, directed and acted by the late great Alan Rickman.   And who doesn't love Stanley Tucci?

 

Another movie I enjoyed (nice, but not as highly recommended), was Uncorked, an interesting story about a Master Sommelier-in-the-making.   (I rescind the apology; this redeems my comment!)

 

I really hope you find a way to view A little Chaos, at least.  If, for some reason  you don't care for it, I will refund the cost of admission.
