Well..it has been a full week plus since my 2nd of only 2 covid vaccine shots...and guess what? There will not be a third.
It was either a non-event or a placebo. I had no side effects from shot # 2 of the Pfizer vaccine.
Does it even matter at this point? I have many folks I know who say they are not getting the shots. I most likely will not get any more than the two. Only lasts 3 months..right?
Since my 4th blog on the covid vaccine...my neighbor, "Cajun", has lost his two year fight with cancer. Went to his visitation tonight. Hate going to those...
Although we were not real close friends...each family knew they could count on the other and many times Gary called or texted to remind us our garage door was open when he took his pup out for a late evening potty break. Going to miss his Louisiana accent.
Since my 3rd Covid blog...A close friend of mine lost his (elderly) Mom to cancer...and again...since my last covid blog...his Dad passed unexpectedly 15 days after his Mom.
On the bright side...a young cancer survivor...Aiden Lukasiewicz...who is one of my true heroes...celebrated his 10 year anniversary of being cancer free. There are only two picture frames that hang high above the doors in my office...My 2005 Broker's License which allowed me to own a real estate company the past 16 years...and a 2018 photo of Aiden and myself after he gave me his "first" autograph ever! I told him someday I would give it back when he was in his twenties. He just turned 12!!
Cancer sucks way worse than Covid does in my world...and I know many more people who have passed from it than from covid. SO not sure there will be a covid #6 blog...
I am going to close with the photo's high on my office wall of my license and of Aiden and myself... I hope he grows to be an old man!!
