 Consider Jesmond

Only 6 kilometers from Newcastle's business center, Jesmond is well-known for being the jewel in the cities crammed with bars, shops, and restaurants. Jesmond might look like a small suburb, but it's the proximity to the university with a thriving student community that makes it a multicultural hub. 

Apart from being constantly crowded by students, surprisingly, Jesmond suburb is also home to a great population of retired seniors, taking up the purpose-built housing.

North Lambton Might Be an Option

Only 9 kilometers from Newcastle's business center and only south of the University of Newcastle, North Lambton is an ideal location for young entrepreneurs, students, and singles, with a majority of residents currently aged 35.

North Lambton suburb is popular among young families, offering outstanding parking, road access, shopping hubs, and more. The area  is also conveniently located between the Jun Hunter Hospital and Calvary Mater Hospital -Newcastle's largest medical facility.
