Home Staging Consultation in Oak Park, CA helps lead to...5 Offers and $20,000 over asking price!!!

We just received fabulous news from a Real Estate Agent who enlisted the services of Platinum Home Staging, Inc. She had a home owner that needed that third party, unbiased opinion to prepare their home for sale.

After a VERY small investment, a 2 hour tour of the home inside and out, as well as a 7 page typed comprehensive Consultation Report. The Sellers took 3 weeks to implement all the suggestions made by Platinum Home Staging, Inc.

Today we were notified that the home received 5 - yes, FIVE offers - and is closing escrow TODAY (June 24, 2008) for $20,000 over the asking price! Woo-hoo!

Woo-hooo is right! Congratulations on your success story. Isn't it just wonderful when the sellers follow through with our suggestions and the deal is made!

I'm glad the seller listened...so often, they don't want to hear what they consider to be "bad news" or criticism of their home. Before I became an agent, my husband and I were constantly amazed (when touring homes we were considering buying) at what passed for "excellent condition." And in this market, sellers need to do everything possible to make their homes stand out. Good for you for getting that point across!

Conroy ~ The real difference is that an experienced Professional Home Stager knows how to tour the home with the Seller, let them know what needs to be done, yet NOT come across as negative or as critisism. We are also great assets to Realtors, because then the LREA doesn't have to be "the bad cop" when it comes to making these suggestions. =)
