Where are you heading for the 4th of July?  Do you stay local or do you travel with the masses to share in the excitement of the colorful skies?  When you are laying there with the black backdrop and that first burst of "boom" and the rainbow of colors brightens the sky what is your first thought?  Do you think of the fellow Military Soliders and Sailors who have given us the "blanket of Freedom"?

For all the citizens in the Wiregrass area I have included a brief calendar of events that will cover the FORT RUCKER area, Enterprise Alabama, Dothan AL, Montgomery AL, Panama City FL and Mexico Beach FL on the FOURTH of  JULY 2008.  Please remember to be safe and take a moment to be thankful for OUR NATIONS FREEDOM

BE PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!

Hi Michelle,
Great information for your locals on July 4th celebrations.  The patriotic names of places was interesting, some I'd never heard of.

Cynthia:  Thank you.  I usually do a postcard of local fireworks shows, parades and events, however I my new area, as you can see above there is not much going on.  I even had to venture out to Montgomery and Panama City.  Fort Rucker partners with the surrounding towns and does one big event, I think we will be walking to the Howze Field.  Have a Happy Fourth of July.
