Nerdin Gardens: Throwing Shade Stunts Growth
We've all met clients who, at first, seemed impossible to please. Either they were uncomfortable with divulging their finances or lacked the ability to commit to being resolute.
They simply needed guided help towards making an informed decision by educating them about the process. Terms, conditions, negotiating and timelines can get tedious.
Coming from a very large family, I have experienced a similar phenomenon of people remaining in place, rather than using reflection as a means to direct their lives.
Instead of moving forward toward achieving goals, they become complacent, zero motivation to implement changes in their lives. Blaming others becomes a reflex.
At least, we can make a happily ever after most of the time for clients, once they fully understand expectations. For some family members, not so much!
