Mark 1:35

“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.”

As Jesus was going from place to place teaching, preaching and healing he needed to find solitary places and time to pray.  You too will need to have some stillness and quiet time to connect with God to help you stay the course.  To shine the light of God you will need to recharge.  Many people are good at doing this daily. Some people have a consistent daily time to do this.

You will know how you work and what’s best for you, but do know you will need this time where you go away and spend time in quiet.  Your energy is a currency for living the life God called you to live.  You have to check in with your energy often to see what you are doing with it.  If its depleting and how it gets depleted.  Typically when you are doing what you love and it has a purpose behind it you will have an increase in your energy.

Sometimes other people can drain our energy.  These can be people we are serving, or people we work with, or family members.  Thus it does not mean that we are not in the right place, or doing the right thing if our energy is being zapped.  It may mean we need more time for quiet and prayer to have the strength to do our best serving. It may be a lesson in patience, kindness and gentleness.  Your times in quiet will help you know what it is and help you to move forward living in your calling and anointing with love, joy and peace!

LORD I DONT ALWAYS TAKE ENOUGH TIME FOR QUIET AND REFRESHING!  HELP ME TO TAKE EXTRA TIME NOW OR LATER TODAY FOR THIS SOLITARY TIME WITH YOU!

*Meditate, pray or affirm the words in BOLD or that are highlighted!  Look for short daily messages from me to spread seeds of hope, encouragement, and expansion of your mind, body and spirit daily!

Hi Chuck,  Thank you for reminding us of the importance of silence and solitude in our lives.  So easy to skip  this, because we are too busy,  to take the time daily to do this.  Great habit to get into though.
