Good Will – It's Viral

One of the really nice things about ActiveRain is the camaraderie it fosters. Through idea exchange and networking, business and personal relationships are established and grown. While I have only been on ActiveRain for a short time I have been touched by the kindness and eagerness of others to help.  Not only to assist people growing their business, but to educate and support each other. This type of environment is extremely rare in a public online format.

If you appreciate this as much as I do than we owe it to community to show it through our contributions. Here are just a few way we can spread the good will:

• Subscribe – expand your blog readership
• Comment – a new member commenting on your blog – thank them with a comment on their blog
• Tag – use social media tools to help promote community information you found useful
• Email – Send a quick encouraging email to a colleague
• Phone – I know it is old fashioned but a telephone call works wonders. Say hello!
• Meet – I have read several blogs posts of gatherings, lunches, and getaways. Truly amazing!

I may be having visions of grandeur but what if it spreads beyond the electronic halls of the computer  and internet. What if we showed the same appreciation and positive attitude in our office and personal lives? Sounds like a fairytale, it doesn’t have to be. We can move mountains.
