Spring is here and it is time to do some important home maintenance items. Let's face it we usually wait until the last minute like everyone else does. To me, one of the most important items, when it gets warm and uncomfortable, is the air conditioning unit. Especially when you have allergies and pollen is blowing around in the air
It is time to change the filters go to the store and have extra ones on hand. They should be changed when needed. Perhaps every three to four months. It may also be a good idea to have your HVAC unit serviced before the hot weather begins. It is best to do now. Waiting until the last minute may put you at the bottom of the list. You may be without an HVAC in hot weather because you did not do spring maintenance. Call your HVAC technician for an appointment and spring into warm Summer temperatures. Sometimes It makes me nervous when I change them and I feel better when I watch a video right before I change the filter
