Covid Traffic: Oxymoron

Hi Endre... ya think??? I remember early on in the pandemic if I was out in my car it was like driving after a nuclear holocaust... no one on the roads. While we don't have quite that traffic in Charlotte, there are many a day when I'm driving around and I'm saying to myself "pandemic, what pandemic?"

Hello Endre - of course, we know that those signs have been in place for a number of years.  I imagine many of the oxymorons we know have been around for a lot longer.  And I don't get me started onmy thoughts on  moronic behavior. . .  

Good morning Endre. Some years ago a report said the Kennedy expressway on Chicago had several sections that were the most congested in the US. Shortly after I was in Los Angeles for business and near the number 2 most congested section of roadway. My vote would have been to give them the number 1 spot. Enjoy your congestion.

One thing I don't miss at all about living in a NY suburb was the traffic. 6 miles in 45 minutes? Ugh. I typically can do 6 miles in about 4 minutes here. :-)

Our section of 101 has been a construction zone during all this.  Some parts are done now.  I have to say traffic was negligible for us even with the construction.  A

I certainly don't miss LA/Orange County traffic!  When I start complaining about the traffic in Sedona, he reminds me of where we came from.  When there is traffic, it may take an extra 5 minutes to go to Uptown.  It used to take us 15 minutes just to get to the 91 freeway because of traffic.  There is nothing in West Sedona that is more than 10 minutes away not counting Enchantment Resort. 

I have found that during this pandemic there are two types of drivers.  Those who drive slow, and others who think they are competing in the Indy 500.

Hi Endre- seeing that picture reminds me why Larry and chose not to move back into Houston proper. If we go into Houston or other high traffic areas we try to do it when everyone else is working or home for the weekend. 

I can't believe you are locked down again. 

I have often wondered how people live in California but I guess it like the beaches, the slow life style and the great people here that you meet on the way you get used to it uh

Well, as we are "essential workers," do you think all those drivers were hungryreal estate agents? 🤣🤣🤣
