I live in Greenville, NH, just over the border from Massachusetts.  I am pleasantly surprised at the Independence Day festivities that my town offers!  I must say that this town is probably one of the most Patriotic towns I've had the pleasure of living in.

Here are the festivities for 2008:

Thursday, July 3rd at the Town Field:

3-7 PM

Arts & Crafts Fair, Raffles, 50/50 Drawing, Concessions, Contests and Music

Chamberlin Public Library will be hosting a book sale, drop by crafts and registration for the summer reading program

8-11:30 PM

Street Dance with DJ Donnie White

9:00 PM

Parade Float Contest, Money and prizes awarded at 11pm

11:30 PM

Fireworks display

12:00 AM

Pots & Pan Parade - all are welcome to pull a float or bang a pan!

Friday, July 4th:

Annual 4th of July Children's Bicycle Parade

11:30 AM

Line up at the Panda Wok Restaurant

12:00 Noon

Parade Starts

Prizes and Frozen treats to follow the parade

K9 Search and Rescue demonstration to follow the parade

All of these festivities were planned by the town Holiday Committee.  You can find more updates by visiting the town website at http://www.greenvillenh.org.  Enjoy!
