I received an e-mail from an Active Rain member a few minutes ago and it reminded me of the power and, indeed, the reach of Active rain.
This RAINER commented on an article I submitted on February 4, 2007. Her comment was welcomed and I appreciate the interest. It lead me to do a bit of research for keywords for my market area. I do this regularly to tweak my web sites with current popular keywords or for areas in which I'm concentrating my
efforts to increase business.
So, off we go to search Google for "new homes for sale Lovettsville Virginia". 3 hits on the first page and a couple more on the page two. That's far enough for me.

For ACTIVE RAIN folks, this shows the importance of "tagging" your articles with good keyword tags. Take a few minutes, write about an area of which you are familiar. Get a few photos and get your TAGS in for your area and keywords and you'll be getting calls and e-mail from buyers and sellers who recognize YOU as the expert for the area of their home to sell or home to buy.
