Something as simple as a smile or a nod of the head to a stranger can be enough to make their day

True story. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we all went out of our way to remember this?  Happy Thursday and Earth Day.

Hi Thomas I made it a way of life last year especially to be kind to everyone (even more so) as so many were dealing what a lot of crazy you know what last year.  It's a good way to spend my time and it feels good too!

I have been making an effort to compliment a stranger every week - my goal for the year - and it's always amazing to see what a simple: I love your dress/hair/purse/shoes/face mask/smile can do. Some people appear confused at first, but when I repeat my compliment, they all pause and then a smile appears. Love it!

Yes, I do that to my bank tellers a lot; compliment a piece of jewlry, a neck tie or an article of clothing. It's fun to see them smile and in some cases tell you the "sorty" of the item.

Lately, I've been feeling I'm existing in two parallels at the same time.  It seems about half the people are going out of their way to be kind, while the other half is about to tear your head off.  In a world where you can be anything. . .Be KIND!

HI Thomas- I love the sentiment behind the quote. We truly never know what someone else is going through. So would it hurt us so much to just be kind to everyone!!!

Good moring, Thomas... I live my life with the idea of "killing them with kindess." Really, at the end of the day not hard and free!
