Do dogs go out of style? Seems to be true. Cocker Spaniels and Weenie Dogs?

Barbara, my old neighbor had two weenie dogs, they were so cute.    About 30 years ago had a cocker spaniel, and was just the cutest, but peed everywhere, so we couldn't keep him.

Hi Barbara,  I haven't seen many of the Dachshund or Cocker Spaniels lately either.  I think there are so many people adopting pets from shelters, that we are not seeing as many purebred dogs around here.

Hello Barbara - growing up, I remember the second dog we had, as I recall we were told she was part Dachshund mixed with some other breed.  I haven't thought about Daisy for a number of years but this post brought back many memories even though she wasn't an official Weenie dog.  

I remember a neighbor of mine having one of those weiner dog boot scrappers on their porch when I was a kid.

Anita said I would post a picture of magnetic scottie dogs and she who must be obeyed has had her say.

These dogs are polarized so head to head they will jump apart. head to tail they will stick together. Seems appropriate!

I'm sure due to social media there is an "all the rage" dog of the season and some that are forgotten. We've always loved German Shepherds and Golden Retrievers, so trendy or not ...😁
