it has to be #4... how can you argue with a can of spray paint?

My vote goes to Number 4!  Couldn't ask for a better sign than that!

I won't even vote for my own, as I think #4 is priceless.

Number 4 is the best. I do not know who would do that.

06/25/2008 09:44 PM by James Graner (Residential Services Real Estate Appraisals)

#4 got me!  I'm still laughing!  It reminds me of something Cousin Eddie would do (National Lampoon's Vacation).

06/25/2008 09:52 PM by Nancy Robertson, RESA, ASHSR (Signature Style Staging)

Nancy - I ADORE cousin Eddie!!!  "Reeeeal tomato ketchup, Eddie?"  "Yep. Nothin' but the best!!"

Update on #4

I found this photo (flick'r, I think) well over a year ago before I was bloging here on AR.  I was practicing RE only then and only staging for my listings.  Here's how I used this photo back then in one of my printed newsletters (Note: no longer with CB)

Saved the PHoto all this time . . . knew it would come in handy again!

How can you not vote for the Spray Paint?  Here's a tip, if you wna tto sell your house, don't grafitti the front of it!

06/26/2008 05:47 PM by Spokane Home Loan -- Casey Brischle -- Mortgage Professional (Bank of Whitman)

Did #3 really look like that or was all the info covered for privacy before being posted here on AR? Either way #4 gets my vote, reminds me of my hilbilly childhood, lol

06/26/2008 06:39 PM by Ronelle Schroeder-Hill~ Real Estate Staging for Vacaville, CA~ (Oomph! Home Staging )

LOL -- I have to go with the spray paint, but Entry #1 was a close second!

06/26/2008 08:11 PM by KERRY LUCASSE - Your Intown Atlanta Real Estate Consultant (Keller Williams Peachtree Rd)

#4 all the way.  Attention getter...but how do you get it off?  Runner up #1.

06/27/2008 12:39 AM by MICHELLE TUCKER - Fort Rucker Real Estate (Realty World - SHAP)

Sounds like the favorites are #4 with #1 running second place. Remember, voting ends at midnight tonight!!!!!

06/27/2008 08:05 AM by Tori Lynn Ross - Omaha's Premier Home Stager (Ross Designs, LLC)

#4 is an original!  I love it! Hopefully it comes with paint stripper when sold!

06/27/2008 01:12 PM by Tina Farinas REALTOR®, e-PRO (MagnumOne Realty)

Ditto #4.  And might I add that I love Karen's newsletter graphic.

06/27/2008 01:35 PM by Tracy Williams Pender, MBA ~ Knightdale & Raleigh, NC Real Estate (Carolina Realty Max)

I vote for #1.
Don't get me wrong, I really 'liked' #4 but I wonder if a disgruntled neighbor did it as a joke or something...

06/27/2008 02:35 PM by JenRan Realty, LLC

I was trying to find the photo of a for sale sign in our area - of a listing my husband ended up picking up.  It was unbelievable -I scour my files for the photo . . .but the sign said, " FER SALE" - no joke!

Any wonder the realtor lost the listing? - Jennie

My vote gets number 4.  The new owner has no choice but to hire a painter!

06/27/2008 07:11 PM by Lisa Roy (SPACELiFT HOME STAGING, Greater Vancouver)

#4 gets my vote ... but they were all good entries (and quite sad at the same time)!!

06/27/2008 07:13 PM by Maureen Bray - Home Stager - Room Solutions Staging Portland OR (Room Solutions - Staging that Sells Portland Homes!)

Tori,

Too late now, but I'm still going to put my 2 cents in!  What in the world are these homeowners thinking?  My vote goes to... naturally, #4.  It would be interesting to know if any of these homes actually sold for their true value!

06/28/2008 01:13 AM by Michelle Pimentel ASP, IAHSP Empire Home Staging (Empire Home Staging Solutions)

#1 is the ugliest! imo.  but #4 is my favorite.  It just might work if they add a phone number!
