SanDisk 4 GBCruzer- Question?

By

I have the SanDisk 4 GB cruser disk. It worked fine for the first couple of syncs.   Last week while I was syncronzing my computer died and I had to reboot.  I removed the cruzer before I rebooted.  Once the computer was running again, I tried to sync.

I get an error message and it will not sync.  I am really frustrated as this is the second one I have had to buy in 2 months.   I will appreciate any help you can give me.

Leslie, I've had the SanDisk and Lexar work and then not work. Right now they are working although I threw away an LG 4 that wouldn't read.

I guess I am behind times.  I don't even know what a cruser is.

Steve, I am about to take this one back to the store.  It is not doing what I thought it would.  I need the back up to work and be reliable.  The website is no help what so ever, the is not one FAQ about this error and no easy way to contact the company.

Roxanne,  The cruzer is a thumb-drive (removeable drive) that you can back up your desk top or lap top computer information too and carry it about with you.  I chose this particular one because it is supposed to back up my outlook and emails.  I have an older computer and I am sure its gonna go to the great ISP in the sky very soon.  I want to make sure I have all my work saved and backed up before that happens.  It will cost a small fortune to have my info extracted if I can't import it.

they are fairly inexpensive $15 - $35.00.

Leslie,

One suggestion is to

1)  save the programs originally on the Cruzer to your computer.

2) Reformat the cruzer

3) Put the programs back on the cruzer...I'm guessing one of them is the sync software.

Best of luck.
