This birthday was a BIG one - 65 years old. BUT, I got a raise, because I no longer have a $700 insurance bill - YAY. Some benefits!
Having a Saturday birthday was challenging, with many fun calls from friends and clients, texts, emails and Facebook wishes. PLUS I had a buyer to show homes to, and they loved one home. The girlfriend of this couple I have known for 15 years, as she is the daughter of a past client. Today when we got to the first house, they had a birthday card with gift cards --- HOW SWEET IS THAT!!! So many ActiveRain friends stopped by my Facebook page, thank you! Thanks Nina, as she put it into the Q & A!
I got home and Laura, my agent was dropping off presents at my front door and caught her, but couldn't talk, as two different buyers wanted to write offers, and the agents were returning my calls. SO SWEET, she brought an orchid and a bottle of wine - YUMMY! We are also meeting up with a couple other friends on Monday for a Mexican lunch.
Life is good....and happy to say it doesn't feel that bad to be 65......
.....and still don't feel like retiring!
