When recently viewing a 40 acre parcel, I was reminded to take a moment before making decisions and judgements. Knowing the Naples Idaho area of this parcel I put no store in the fact a creek was mentioned by the seller. Steep rough terrain in the area. Views? Only with the highest of points of the parcels in the area.
Once there and walking the Naples Idaho property, with the seller, I realized the serious mistake I could have made if I had been unwilling to look in person. I immediately was thankful I took the time to meet with the seller in person at the property.
The seller had a passion for the property that was contagious. The very first path he showed me was full access to the year round creek. Level, and at creek level for the width of the property. Then we went to a few level building areas already partially cleared. Views? Incredible. Off what I considered the premier building area was a level, quad type path to hundreds of acres of adjoining state land.
After seeing this property in person and catching the passion for the property that the owner put forth, I was excited. Felt I could get the price, I once felt too high, for the seller. Apparently the seller recognized my sincerity, as I had seen his passion. He chose me to market the property and today we are under contract.
Had I been unwilling to be open minded this would not have come about as it did.
