Community and Real Estate Information

Lubeck is a census-designated place in Wood County, West Virginia, part of the Parkersburg-Marietta-Vienna Metropolitan Statistical Area. South of Blennerhassett, east of Washington, and southwest of Parkersburg, the town is located. The land area of Lubeck is 4.3 square miles, with several subdivisions, farmlands, and undeveloped forested areas. The neighborhood primarily serves as a convenient home base for the region's various manufacturing, industrial, and other businesses. Although Lubeck has several farms, the majority of its residents work outside the town.

Lubeck real estate consists of various single-family homes in small cul de sac subdivisions that branch off the community's various roadways. These homes typically range in price from the mid $100,000s to the mid $300,000s. The average home age in the community is 41 years, and the homes are built in a variety of styles. Most homes have custom designs because they were built according to the owner's wishes. Many single-story ranch-style homes can be found in the area, as this was the most popular home style from the 1960s to the 1980s. More modern suburban designs with the classic front-facing attached garage, large windows, and well-kept lawns are available in the community's newer subdivisions. The majority of the town's land is made up of hillsides, with the majority of these being private properties used as grazing fields or farmland. Aside from the typical suburban homes in the neighborhood, there are also farmsteads and luxury estate homes on multi-acre lots. Typically, these homes come with a family-owned farm and various outbuildings to help support their business.
