The herd of elk in Estes Park like the grass on the golf course but these are not a fan of the golfers. They will keep on eating and the golfers will either have to wait or drop a ball far away from the herd. I would not want to go out with a golf cart and try to get my ball.
Hello Will - I am not a golfer. Not much of a surprise, right? But isn't true that those who participate in the sport are quite talented in making excuses for not making the right score??? Sure, blame it on the elk. Why not?

Will Hamm once again, Michael Jacobs has me laughing about the golfers and the elk. Neither one is a golfer, although Ron did take it up for a while, and used to play 9 holes ever Friday with our office guys. I would join them for breakfast...No elks in Rancho Park in Los Angeles. LOL A

I have seen elk before Will Hamm and they are very large animals. Another big one is moose and they can be very ornory.
We don't have rampant elk in our area just a lot of squirrels

I've been thinking and praying that your back is improving. So sorry to hear the news and how did it happen; do you know? Sometimes when my Sciatica acts up, I am in the dark to its genesis. And though I love the sport and fun of golfing, I cannot imagine I'd want to partner up with an Elk.
That would be a hard PASS for me, Will! Those elk are WAY bigger than me! LOL
