Where should we begin? How this all started? The other day I happened to find the book where people signed at the time of my father’s death.
As I began to look through the names, I recognized about 123 out of 476 names who had signed the book. People who lived in Milton West Virginia, people I went to school with, people who were students of my daddy before I was even born, people who admired my dad, and people who I have no idea who were.
You see, my dad was a school teacher for 40 years, in and around Milton West Virginia. He was my teacher in the first, second, third, fourth, and sixth grades. Just about all his students, I am sure by now have left this world. Except for some who I went to school with.
One interesting part of all if this is how I got my name. A name I am so proud of. A name like no one else in the United States of America. You ask how do I know? I looked in google! There are about 27 Dan’s but there is only one Dan Dee.
You’ll see on the next page Dan Dee Potato Chips! If you lived in Ohio, West Virginia Pennsylvania, or Virginia back around 2008 or before well before 1945 There was a truck that would go down the road (the main highways) yellow, red, white, and blue that said DAN DEE Potato chips.
