Business Opportunities

One of the benefits of living in this neighborhood is that residents in the area have easy access to the downtown district, a short 20-minute drive via Deerfoot Trail. There are also three LRT stations for the commuters. The LRT can take residents to downtown Calgary in 20 minutes. Queensland residents enjoy the convenience of having shopping establishments, dining, schools, and cinema complexes. On top of that, families in the area may enjoy relaxing and even fishing near the river. The nearby Sikome Lake has a great beach where everyone can have plenty of fun during summer. Important Considerations

Queensland has a very wide range of price points. In 2020, the least priced home in the community was sold for $163,000, and the most expensive home was sold for $492,500. The average price in the community is lower than the price in several surrounding communities. On the other hand, you can get a bigger home in Queensland for less compared to other nearby neighborhoods, so buyers searching for better value can typically get a larger home and better “bang for their buck.”
