Sundance is a residential neighborhood in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is bordered on the north and east by Sun Valley Boulevard, the south by the Marquis of Lorne Trail and Highway 22X, and the west by Macleod Trail. Sundance is located west of Fish Creek Provincial Park, close to schools and public transportation. Residents may spend a wonderful day outside with their families by visiting neighboring wildlife spotting and birdwatching areas.
The Sundance Lake community was founded in 1982. The Sun Dance of the Native American Indians who lived on Alberta's gorgeous plains was credited with the name. They lived in the Fish Creek Valley from 6,500 BC to the early 19th century, according to local history. In 1883, when one of the pioneers, Sam Shaw, got a misdelivered parcel apparently for Midnapore, India, the valley was renamed Midnapore. Midnapore (the name referring to the area containing Fish Creek and its valley) was annexed by Calgary in 1961 and separated into a number of neighborhoods and sites. One of the neighborhoods was Sundance.
Two-story or two-story-split Sundance detached residential properties are available. These homes range in price from $449,900 to $1,300,000. It features 4 to 5 bedrooms on average and 2 to 3 1/2 baths on average. The flooring in homes is either Carpet, Hardwood, Vinyl, or Cork, while the roofs are either Asphalt Shingle or Concrete. With roughly 1,967 square feet of living space, the average price per square foot is $375. The sizes of the lots range from 4,553 to 6,491 square feet. Important Considerations
Being on the city's south side, and with all of the new development south of here in recent years, journeys into the city can be a little lengthier. This is especially true when it snows. Sundance, on the other hand, provides quick access to Stoney Trail, Calgary's "ring road." In times of traffic congestion, this is a wonderful alternative route that will get you to your destination!
