Ocala Ranch has recently filed a civil suit that seeks $20 million worth in damages after its plan to build 5,400 houses in southwestern Marion County was denied by the County Commission. Its latest attempt to get the project going features a request for a non-local jury, claiming that Marion County residents would have a conflict of interest in the case.
