To find that perfect home, you may need the help of a matchmaker.
Many are talking about the inventory shortage, fast market, and multiple offers.
Many people in Baltimore are trying to decide whether to sell their home but are not ready to go to a 55 plus community, condo, or other adult living type.
Baltimore has a minimal supply of properties and very few choices! Unlike other big cities, we do not have a selection of patio homes, communities of ranchers with garages, or even homes that are accessible. The baby boomers do not want any assistance. They do not wish for the closeness of condo living, and they do not want the monthly fees.
They are ready to give up a large family home maintain a great big house, but they want a more uncomplicated living style. Many of our one-story places, built in the fifties and sixties and not rehabbed, will need to be.
They want fewer steps and space for that gourmet kitchen, family gatherings, guests, and grandkids.
What to do?
There is another choice. Get on my list.
I have sellers ready to let go of their age-in-place, nearly perfect accessible homes. But they are waiting to decide where they might go. If you consider one-story living, with a garage, maybe a pool, and plenty of room without HOA or Condo fees, I may have the home.
Are you able to wait until these owners have found a new place?
I have a waiting list of buyers and sellers for Baltimore ranchers
who want privacy, luxury, and space.
And all are qualified; most can pay cash. I have properties in move-in condition and homes that you could be purchased at a reasonable price if you want to do your sweat equity.
If you are thinking of buying or selling a luxury home with one or more first-floor owner suites, please call me.
