Good morning Mark - every year is a milestone but some have more significance.

Hello Mark - does someone have something to celebrate?  I know of many people who designate an entire month to celebrating their birthday.  And others who choose to celebrate each and every day regardless of what may be on the calendar.  Whatever your reason, there are countless ways where motivation and choice play a role in our daily lives.  

Hi Mark... I totally agree... birthdays are special days and should be celebrated regardless of the year.

You're right about birthdays providing an opportunity to reflect, Mark.  There is another thing that gives that opportunity.  And, that's class reunions!  Recently, I attended a 60th class reunion of my high school class.  I was a little dismayed to learn about half my class was dead.  And, when I looked around at those in attendance, many were in wheelchairs, or were incapacitated in some way.  It's important to appreciate each and every candle on our birthday cakes.
