A few months ago, Jane, the owner of Carpinteria Wine recommended Foxen Chenin Blanc. We had asked for her suggestion of a wine that would go well with Petrale Sole, one our favorite fish.

Since then, we have continued to buy this wine. It is perfect for fish dishes, for hors-d'oeuvres, and as a summer sipping wine. We just bought a bottle for our wine rack.

For decades Foxen Winery has produced consistently delicious Pinot Noirs, Chardonnays and more. In the more department is their single-vineyard Chenin Blanc, a dry version with all the bells and whistles of the grape.

Get jasmine, honeysuckle, citrus blossoms, fresh peaches & pears and orange zest. The slightly waxy texture and elevated acidity is a tasty combination. Slam-dunk tasty and an absolute bargain. As reviewed by Dan Dawson.

I will have to try it! In the same price range my favorite white wine is Casa Nuestra Chenin Blanc (from Napa). I simply LOVE that wine. So refreshing and just amazing with seafood.

Hello Alexandra and Ron - while I have enjoyed many glasses, even bottles, of wine, over the years there is one term that has always intrigued me. I know guzzling wine is frowned upon but is sipping an alternative to enjoying wine with a meal(a table wine?) or something else?

Michael Jacobs It is all about the enjoyment of it. Some people sip, some people guzzle, who cares as long as the enjoyment is there. We love this wine, and keep a spare bottle in the refrigerator. Quite often we decide on our. dinner in the late morning or early afternoon. We are always ready with whatever goes with white, even if it a salad with shrimp. A
