Good news to cheer up your Thursday!

Glass half fullI'm not an overly dedicated "glass half full" type of person.

But in times like these, I find that it's better for all involved to have some cheer and optimism, no matter how forced. So, here's some "good" news for you!

According to my trusted expert Barry Habib and the Mortgage Market Guide, the inventory of existing homes fell very slightly to a 10.9 month supply. Which means that although the demand for homes is not exactly improving, it's also not declining either.

Hooray! Stability! Peace of mind!

Okay, in reality, let's not get too excited about the news since it's not a huge deal and isn't moving the market terribly. But let's also allow ourselves to be cheerful, because guess what?

No matter how tough things get, there's always something good happening. It's just up to us to find it!

Carey, good post. Be careful, you sound like more of a "glass-half-full" guy than you want us to believe. :)

I heard a good quote yesterday. An analyst said, "I'm less concerned with whether the glass is half empty or half full. I'm more interested in knowing what's in the glass." <-- now that's a phrase I'm going to work into a post quite soon.
