The light at the end of the tunnel

Hello everyone..

It looks as if we may be seeing some signs of improvement in our central florida market.  Median price increases AND sales volume increases!!  If you have a buyer on the fence, just use that information to show them that BUYING NOW is the time to get in on the GREAT deals!

As we have all become accustomed, short sales and REO's are still a large influence on our market, but as those of you in the trenches know, the banks are starting to be a little more realistic (and some of our regular sellers too).  Hopefully we are seeing the beginnings of a return to a more stabilized, normal market.

So long for now.

Jeff, Thanks for sharing what seems to be good news! SO much we hear nationally is still negative. God bless! Jim

Keep Hope Alive ... I do think near the start on 2009 as opposed to the end we will see the media catch on that they sky is no longer falling.

Well, thank you for those reading.

The activity level is certainly up here in the Clermont area. We're seeing people out looking at homes, I guess they're realizing that the bottom is here(or at least so close they can't afford to wait any longer.)

Aggressivly priced homes are spending less time on the market which is a change from 6 months ago when EVERYTHING was very stagnant.  I know I know, don't say everything because some things were selling, but ya'll know what I'm saying.

As much as it pains me to say this, maybe the takeover of Freddie and Fannie will give us a little stability in the mortgage market so the buyers we're all chauffering around actually stand a chance at getting an approval!

Lets all get moving and sell some houses!

Later all

Jeff
