On June 16, 2021, California Association of Realtors (C.A.R) reported that homes values increased 0.3% to an average price of $752,250 in May of 2021 from an average price of $750.000 in April of 2021, and rose 33.1% from $565,000 in May of 2020. While, homes sales fell 4.8% in May of 2021 from April of 2021, but jumped 80.0% from May of 2020 in Southern California.
There were 1.8 months supplies of available inventory of homes in May of 2021 up from 1.6 months in April of 2021, and gained from 4.5 months in May of 2020. An average it took 7.0 days to sell a home in May 2021, unchanged from 7.0 days in April of 2021, but declined from 18.0 days in May of 2020 in Southern California.
