Mark 6:30
“Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”
This was Jesus telling his apostles to come away with him to rest after serving, helping, and performing miracles to the crowds. You may not see your daily life as a miracle worker, but certainly you are doing a lot of helping and serving and this can take your energy from you.
Even if you are not facing challenges or difficulties and perhaps things are going well or even going miraculous you still need time to go away to a quiet place and rest. This is a daily practice that can get lost in all of our doingness. The last couple days we have focused on your BEINGNESS of being STILL and QUIET!
You may think you have so much on your to do list, and can’t take time to get quiet, but this is essential for you. Getting into the Christ Mind and following God so that God can go before us really does require us to take time and BE STILL!
I TAKE TIME TO FIND A QUIET PLACE TO ENTER INTO THE CHRIST MIND! BEING STILL ALLOWS GODS GOODNESS TO GO BEFORE ME!
