Gaithersburg 4th of July Weekend Activities
Celebrate America’s independence with Gaithersburg’s Red, White & Blue Weekend. Patriotic-themed activities, a cooking demonstration, community chalk projects, and more will take place July 1 – 4. See all the details here.
Most City facilities will be closed on Monday, July 5. The Water Park and Miniature Golf Course will be open. Recycling will be collected on its regular schedule.
Everyone is invited to participate in a community chalk painting to celebrate summer. Watch professional artists in the Paseo at Kentlands Market Square on July 1 and at Bohrer Park on July 2. Then on July 3, you can be the artist as the community gathers at Bohrer Park to paint the City red, white & blue. If you can’t make it to the park, you can still join in the fun. Get out your chalk and dress up your own sidewalk. Share your masterpiece using the hashtag #Gburg4th. Read the details here.
