Community and Real Estate Information

Golden Gate Heights is a magnificent residential neighborhood in San Francisco's western section, surrounded to the north by Lawton Street, to the west by 16th Avenue, to the south by Quintara Steps, and to the east by 10th Avenue. Golden Gate Heights was formerly a large dune. Carl Larsen bought the land in 1869 and donated it to the city in 1924. Today, the area offers a wide range of recreational options as well as a pleasant living environment. Nearly 15,000 people live in the neighborhood, and they want everything the community has to offer.

Early Suburban Tract and Mission Revival architectural components can be seen in Golden Gate Heights homes for sale. These two types are popular in San Francisco because of their practicality and timelessness, so you'll see them in a lot of homes. In the neighborhood, there are both condominium units and single-family homes, giving residents a variety of housing alternatives. Young professionals would appreciate having their own space in the comfort of their condos, while families would cherish the memories created in their single-family homes. Despite having homes established as early as 1926, the Golden Gate Heights villages are well-maintained. There are even more recent projects that were built till 2008, indicating that the area's residential improvement continues to expand. Residents also have assigned parking spaces, which range from one to three per property.

Important Considerations

Those in the region are much more expensive than homes in other areas since it is a densely inhabited area. The majority of single-family homes are also fairly old, which may need additional modifications and maintenance. If you want to stay inside your housing budget, you should check at different San Francisco neighborhoods.
