64 single family homes sold in Walnut Creek in the 2nd quarter 2021 -- equal to the number sold in the same quarter one year ago, but 19 more than in the 1st quarter 2021. New listings in Walnut Creek decreased to 43 with 26 fewer homes listed compared with one year ago.
Homes sold 35 days more quickly in the 2nd quarter 2021 than in 2020. Average sale price was $403,350, up 22.9% year-over-year. This is about $32,000 higher than in the most recent quarter. The median sale price was $407,477, up 23.7% year-over-year. The median sale price was almost $37,000 higher than in the 1st quarter 2020.
On average, home sellers received 102.9% of list price as a final sale price, while median sale to list price was 100.4%.
