The newest and most comprehensive commuting option available to Woodbridge and Dumfries residents is the Virginia Railway Express. There are 3 stations currently operating with a 4th planned. The 3 are Woodbridge, Rippon and Quantico.

The most important feature of this service is that it PROVIDES CONNECTIONS TO EVERY ROUTE IN THE METRORAIL SYSTEM.
Franconia = Blue Line
Alexandria = Blue and Yellow Lines
L'Enfant Plaza = Yellow, Blue, Green, Orange Lines
Union Station = Red Line
You can travel anywhere in the Metro System even though we do not have subway system service in Woodbridge, Dumfries or Prince William County.

Hey Karen, with the traffic as bad as it is in that area i think it's a great idea by adding the railway express. It's safer than commuting in a car and depending on the day it could even be faster. The subways are a great asset to the newyork city people.
