Hi all!
I went to the Poway Rotary Demotion Dinner last night, and it was my first time everto such an event.
Instead of an Installation dinner, it was a Demotion of the current's president's term. But all in good fun,
with a recount of her year in office being told by various fellow rotarians. They at once, kept things lively
by roasting the president leaving office, Cindy Fisher of Continuous Printing with some
ribs at her term of office, as well as the many accomplishments and service contributed to the community that happened under her tenure, and we welcomed in New President Nazem Agha of Carpet Country Flooring, who has promised in his term to strive to do even more and better things of service to the City of Poway, the region, and the world. Whew!!! Quite a handful of objectives, but one that Rotary International seems to do all the time.
So if you are in or near Poway, California, I invite you to stop by our meetings on Wednesday at noon-1:30pm at the Brigantine Restaurant on Poway Rd & Community Rd. You will get to meet a great bunch of people!
