You know as the song goes...."Lady in Red!"   Have to remember these people on a daily basis, so once a week shouldn't be that hard!   After all...look at what they sacrifice for us....

Karen, that's a great idea. Friday's at noon in our city, people gather at Monument Terrace in support of our troops. They bring flags and flowers and ask for people to honk. Our service men and women and their families deserve our support.

In my area in South Florida, if you forget, you get reminded...lot's of these folk's have children or other family member's in the service...Every Friday..it is just expected!

Karen, Count me in !!!!!! Any chance I get to wear red I'll take it, especially for such a wonderful cause. Besides, I almost always wear red anyway. Its my best color and really brings out the green in the eyes. *lol* Ahhhhhhh. And a guy in a black suit with a red shirt and red and black striped tie? Yep, all men should HAVE to wear that every Friday. Good luck recruiting, I'll pass it along. NJ

I recently donated my support to help market a charity called ARMS. American Recreational Military Services (A.R.M.S), a 501 (c)(3) Public Charity was founded in 2003 by a group of grass roots volunteers who wanted to give something back to the military and their families. The general public don't think about these people as much as they should...My heart goes out to all of them and their families!

Thank you for  the link...people take so much for granted...It's sad...Does the general public even realize what these people that serve in our military....??? Everytime I see an enlisted soldier come home for a brief visit ...showing up at school...see the tear's in their children's eyes...and the tear's in the rest of the room...I cry with them...thank you!
