I love this challenge that is being hosted by Kathleen Daniels, Probate & Trust Specialist, especially since a friend of mine recently wrote a book and I am so excited and happy for her success. The amount of high acclaim the book is receiving is phenomenal and even though I am not much of a reader, I ordered a copy. I actually even read the book and it was such an easy read. The book kept me captivated throughout every chapter and I couldn't put it down. I think if I had had the time, I would have been able to read it in its entirety in one sitting. Even with only having an hour here or an hour there, it only took me a few days to finish it. I can certainly see why all of these other big-time authors are giving such high praise to the book, it certainly lived up to the hype. Actually, it exceeded the hype for me since I am not an avid reader, yet it kept me entertained.
After reading the book, I felt like maybe I could become a reader so I attempted to read a different book, but that book put me to sleep after a couple of pages, so I know that I am just not meant to be an avid reader at this time in my life. It also further solidified in my mind what a great book Falling is for readers.
The premise of the book is: You just boarded a flight to New York. There are one hundred and forty-three other passengers onboard. What you don’t know is that thirty minutes before the flight your pilot’s family was kidnapped. For his family to live, everyone on your plane must die. The only way the family will survive is if the pilot follows his orders and crashes the plane. Enjoy the flight.
I know that Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP has read the book and I loved reading her review of it previously. Check out her blog since her posts are always worthwhile to read.
The book has even been on the NY Times Best Seller Bestseller list since its debut, so it is not just me saying how good the book is, haha.
T. J. Newman, a former bookseller turned flight attendant, worked for Virgin America and Alaska Airlines from 2011 to 2021. She wrote much of Falling on cross-country red-eye flights while her passengers were asleep. She lives in Phoenix, Arizona. Falling is her first novel.
Check it out and if you are a book reader, order it and I guarantee you will love it.
