These are a few of the key items

There will uselly be musty odors.

If there is a dehumidifier being used in the basement.

If there is moisture on pipes and or on any metal objects in the basement.

If there is rust and corrosion on equpment or any metal objects in the basement.

If there are DeMoist bags hung around in the basement.

DALE, I guess we won't be checking any of those signals out; since we have NO BASEMENTS.  I often have people from up north who are moving down here and ask me why.  I usually ask them if they like to go swimming.

I inspected a home one time that the outside pool came in to the master bedroom. The folk's that owned it like geting to the pool from their bed. That home is in Colorado, I lived there for a few years.
