What your Home Inspector will be looking for as signals in respect to the basement, that it could be having moisture problems, like Condensation.
These are a few of the key items
There will uselly be musty odors.
If there is a dehumidifier being used in the basement.
If there is moisture on pipes and or on any metal objects in the basement.
If there is rust and corrosion on equpment or any metal objects in the basement.
If there are DeMoist bags hung around in the basement.
