Serendipity Sundays ~ Happy Heavenly Birthday Mom

This photo was taken when my mom was a student at Iowa State University where she graduated in Home economics. She was a beautiful lady and met my dad there. They moved to Schenectady NY, married and started their family. There were three of us children and left a legacy to each of us. Hardwork, conscientiousness and making a difference were instilled in all three of us.

Mom was born on August 15, 1917 which means she would be 104 today on her heavenly birthday! Happy Birthday Mom!

Hello Dorie, My mom birthday was last Sunday and she would of been 97 and this week on August 18 my brother would of been 71 but he past away last June.  I made a beer cake last sunday in honor of my mom and will have a drink for my brother on Wednesday.
